Meet Us – The Story of LadyBuQ Art Studio

Hello! We'd love to introduce ourselves personally and tell you the story of our LadyBuQ Art Studio. We're a married couple – Darek and Basia Bełch – and we live in the countryside near Łańcut in the Podkarpacie region.

By education, we're both teachers, but our lives took a completely different path. After returning from Ireland around 2012, we were trying to find our place in Poland. Basia took a job as deputy director at a well-known chain store, while I – Darek – worked as a technician at a large shopping center.

However, we knew this wasn't for us. Children appeared in our lives, along with a huge challenge – namely finding a way to live in Poland that aligned with our dreams.

The Turning Point

I remember a radio article where someone kept repeating: "do what you love." I couldn't get it out of my head. It became our motto – we decided to transform our passion into a way of life.

We put everything on one card and opened our LadyBuQ Art Studio.

How It All Started

Together with Basia, we're like Flip and Flap – always kind of together, and together we can achieve a lot. I used my passion for leather working – I was always tinkering with leather in my free time, experimenting with different techniques and tools. Basia, on the other hand, utilized her talent for designing handbags – she has incredible intuition for style and functionality.

And that's how it started – from a passion for craftsmanship and love for beautiful, functional things, our LadyBuQ Art Studio was born.

What Drives Us

Every day we work to ensure our products are not only beautiful, but also durable and functional. We believe in the value of things made with heart, with attention to every detail. Every handbag that leaves our workshop carries a piece of our passion and experience.
